| 内容記述 | This article examines the significance and future considerations of a short-term study abroad program based on the analysis of questionnaire surveys conducted one and three months after the program. Analyses of the surveys reveals a decline in students’ motivation to study English over time, and a gradual waning of their interests for a trip or a study abroad. Regarding college lectures, over 90% of respondents expressed a heightened interest in “U.S. society, history, and cultures” compared to their pre-program levels. Finally, this article reviews what the short-term study abroad program should be to develop “Global human resources.” The study highlights the importance of continually enhancing learning effectiveness by integrating this program with other curricula or by offering preparatory and follow-up instruction courses. | |||||||||||||||||
