Analyses of the surveys reveals a decline in students’ motivation to study English over time, and a gradual waning of their interests for a trip or a study abroad. Regarding college lectures, over 90% of respondents expressed a heightened interest in “U.S. society, history, and cultures” compared to their pre-program levels.
