The purpose of this study is to advance the research on "food education". The work was carried out by questionnaire survey on dietary life of infants. We investigated the dietary habit of infants and their parent's awareness for foods. We found that many parents wanted to learn "food education" with their children. This result was similar to that of national investigation, which was also conducted by questionnaire. A nutrition education was carried out to improve knowledge about foods by using food cards as a tool for communication. Food cards were effective in the improvement of knowledge about food. It indicates that they can be used effectively as a teaching material. |
