| 内容記述 | In 1968, I graduated from university and, in the same year, started doing freelance work as a clothing designer.A turning point came in 1970 with my marriage, when I developed a close tie with the local Arimatsu shibori production.But I involvement with shibori was not in the traditional sense, but rather to find a way to incorporate shibori techniques into modern fashion.In the meantime, I continued to work on individual design projects, such as "Yoko's One Piece of Cloth."Presentations were given as conferences, lectures, exhibitions, and fashion shows.I have continued to strive towards fusion of shibori, promotion of local textile production, as well as individual design projects. | |||||||||||
