Gifu City Women’s College, Hashima City and Gifu Prefecture Worsted and Woollen Weavers Association concluded the agreement on the promotion of local industry on the basis of educational activities in textile material center in March 2017. In November Gifu City Women’s College carried out the workshop of needle punch felt making for the children in Hashima as one of the co-operation works with three organizations. In this paper the effects of workshop to the understandings of local industry of Hashima area and advantages of wool textiles were discussed. |
