Almost all of them lived in the Tokai area (Gifu, Aichi, and Mie Prefectures), and 72% of them lived with their families. We found that students living with their families rarely prepared meals at home. However, more than 55% of them liked cooking and less than 7% of them disliked it. Having a specialty dish, the frequency or time spent for preparing a meal depended on whether they like or dislike cooking.
