 note = {This paper details a collaborative research project which was designed to give students studying English as a foreign language skills for writing research papers in English.  As part of this project, students practiced forming arguments and collecting and paraphrasing information from various sources to use to support their arguments.  The information collected by individuals was made available to all of the participants for use in writing their own research papers.  The effectiveness and useful of the project is discussed then followed by suggestions for improvement.},
